ABOUT ME
A career shaped by curiosity, resilience, and care.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and professor based in Washington, D.C.
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples from a variety of cultural backgrounds and identities.
WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
Support shaped around you, not a formula.
There is no one-size-fits-all way to do therapy. Our work begins with understanding what has brought you here, the context surrounding it, and what you hope life can feel like instead.
I practice integratively, drawing from evidence-based and relational approaches while staying attentive to culture, identity, lived experience, and the pace that feels right for you.
ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT
A dedicated space to slow down, make sense of what you are carrying, and move toward change with greater clarity and self-compassion.
Individual therapy may be a fit if anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, relationship patterns, or a major transition are making it difficult to feel like yourself.

CONNECTION & REPAIR
Couples &
relationship therapy
A supportive place to understand the cycle you get caught in, communicate more openly, and strengthen the connection you want to protect.
I tailor the work to each relationship, integrating ACT, EFT, IBCT, and selected Gottman methods rather than asking every couple to fit one model.
I work from a social justice, liberation-oriented, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens.
Culturally affirming and responsive therapy
CULTURALLY AFFIRMING AND RESPONSIVE THERAPY
I work from a social justice, liberation-oriented, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens.
MY APPROACH
Integrative, culturally responsive, and compassionately challenging.
In practice that means your background is part of the work rather than context we set aside. What happens around you shapes what happens inside you, and both are worth talking about.
We begin with curiosity, listening, and a shared understanding of what matters to you.
01
We notice patterns with compassion, while making room for honest challenge and change.
02
We build practical skills for navigating everyday challenges without losing sight of the deeper experiences beneath them.

Biofeedback-informed care
A MIND BODY PERSPECTIVE
I am board certified in biofeedback. Although I do not currently offer biofeedback as a standalone service, this training informs psychoeducation and somatic exercises that can be integrated into therapy when useful.
The goal is not to add another technique for its own sake. It is to help you better understand the connection between your body, emotions, and patterns of response.
in Biofeedback
A thoughtful first step, without pressure.
